Funding Competition Announced by SBA to Organizations Providing Federal Procurement Training to Veteran Entrepreneurs

The U.S. Small Business Administration announced that private sector and profit organizations are eligible to compete for funding to provide federal procurement training to veteran and service-disabled veteran entrepreneurs. The application for the same will be accepted till July 12, 2021.

Two awardees will use the $500,00 total funding to engage in the Veteran Federal Procurement Entrepreneurship Training Program (SB-OVVT-21-001) with grants from SBA’s Office of Veterans Business Development. The fund will be used to cover the costs of service-disabled veterans and in educating veterans.

Organizations who are eligible must submit applications for the Veteran Federal Procurement Entrepreneurship Training Program (SB-OVVT-21-001) funding opportunity by July 12, 2021, before 11.59 p.m. through grants.gov. Application submitted through other than grant.gov will not be considered.
A conference call will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 2 p.m. by SBA’s Office of Veteran Business Development to answer questions related to the Veteran Federal Procurement Entrepreneurship Training Program grant announcement.
