US Small Business Admin. deadline for flooding relief nears

The U.S. Small Business Administration is reminding Indiana private, nonprofit organizations, or PNPs, of an upcoming deadline to apply for flooding disaster assistance.PNPs have until Feb. 5 to submit economic injury disaster loan applications for damages caused by severe storms and historic floods last year from Feb. 14-March 4.PNPs in Elkhart, LaPorte, Marshall, Pulaski, St. Joseph and Starke counties are eligible to apply for the assistance.Examples of eligible noncritical PNP organizations include, but are not limited to, food kitchens, homeless shelters, schools and colleges.
