Cigna and Oscar Announce New Plans to Provide More Affordable Coverage to Connecticut Small Businesses

Cigna, a global health care services provider, and Oscar Health, Inc., the first health insurance company based on The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant effect on small businesses across the world, especially in Connecticut. According to a survey from Opportunity Insights, a Harvard University-based research institute, more than one-third (37%) of Connecticut small businesses have been forced to close since the outbreak began. According to a Cigna + Oscar survey, 88% of small businesses expect to support their employees' health in the future, and 66% believe that health care is more important to incorporate into their budgets than it was before the coronavirus outbreak. the full stack technology platform, announced today that Cigna + Oscar1 small business health insurance will be available to Connecticut employees beginning July 1, 2021.

o $3 co-pays on the most commonly prescribed prescriptions.

o Express Scripts pharmacists, nurses, and specialty drug experts.
Dedicated care team experts to help employees understand their benefits, find nearby care and get the most value out of their plan.

Cigna and Oscar will share the risk equally under a reinsurance agreement for solutions offered through this strategic partnership and plan to expand the partnership over time.
