Beyond Bitcoin - The Real Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Global Finance

I track large, complex systems worldwide looking for the kinds of entrepreneurial opportunities that can scale like Amazon, Google, Alibaba, mobile phones. I’m constantly asking: What is the smallest thing you can do - with the largest commercial and social value - for the largest number of people in the world - with near zero cost?
I would ask entrepreneurs to look beyond Bitcoin to the rapidly emerging billion-user systems in Asia that are almost certain to produce many more and better. Bitcoins for a very long time. India’s Aadhaar and the new financial systems in China and Africa are far more important for today’s entrepreneurs than Bitcoin.
The Aadhaar represents the kind of large-scale open system that the inevitable electronic currencies of the world will need if they are to thrive.  If the Aadhaar becomes a trusted platform, it could could become a Google of Money - even beyond India, much as the dollar-based trading system became the de facto reserve currency pump of the world.
