Small Business Center guides local business to success

A local small business development center has been growing since opening its doors. Amy Lambert, executive director of the Illinois Small Business Development Center at the Starved Rock Country Alliance, said they are up to more than 170 clients."What I'm really excited about is the diversity I'm seeing in the entrepreneurs," Lambert said "When we talk about entrepreneurship ... most people think of the younger generations. We're seeing a lot of people who are coming in and have been retired, and have decided that they may have retired too early, and it's time to follow up on that dream they've always had."
