Local small businesses reflect on starting in Bowling Green

ChamberofCommerce.org has published a study naming Bowling Green as the 13th best small city in the country for business in 2019.As Bowling Green adds another accolade to celebrate, several small businesses reflected on why they started here and how BG earned the distinction.Jim Sears of Morris Jewelry says, "Bowling Green has become an attractive place for businesses to set up, it's definitely transformed especially with all the new apartments that are coming down here and the gentrification of the area."Donato's Pizza Owner Spence Sheldon also gave his opinion and says "aside the fact from being home um I knew I was in an economy that was booming, being here for so long and already creating kind of a brand for yourself um, it just made the most sense."
