Breef and Newity Partner to Help Small Businesses Grow With Easy Access to Vetted Marketing Service Providers

Breef | March 07, 2022

Small Businesses Growth
Breef (www.breef.com), the world’s first online agency marketplace, has announced a partnership with NEWITY, the small business marketplace dedicated to supporting equitable access to SBA loans and trusted business service providers. As NEWITY’s official Marketing Services Partner, Breef is helping NEWITY’s growing community of 115,000 small business members more easily access marketing agency resources and extend their growth opportunities.

Breef provides brands with access to more than 6,000 vetted, boutique agencies that deliver more than 40 project types. From brand creative and public relations to digital marketing, web development, and design, Breef connects companies with vetted agency partners in under seven days, simplifying the marketing outsourcing process to drive measurable business outcomes.

Businesses using Breef have reported savings on average of 35% per project compared with traditional agency spend — allowing small businesses to get more out of their advertising and marketing budget.

“We are committed to introducing our community to resources that will help their businesses grow and become more profitable,” said Luke LaHaie, Co-CEO and Co-Founder at NEWITY. “Breef allows us to fulfill this commitment by providing access to essential marketing tools and relationships that in the past have been reserved for only the largest companies with significant marketing budgets.”

Through this partnership, NEWITY members will gain access to Breef’s innovative platform and dedicated expert support to help guide their marketing project planning, budgeting, and scoping processes.

“At Breef, we give users both the tools and technology to make outsourcing to agencies accessible and affordable. We’re thrilled to be a dedicated resource to NEWITY’s community and help guide its small businesses to marketing success.”

George Raptis, Co-Founder at Breef

In a step to provide integrated services that help small businesses via this partnership, Breef plans to roll out NEWITY’s suite of loan offerings to its community. Breef will start with the SBA 7(a) loan — a core component of NEWITY’s offering — which commenced initially with PPP loans during the early phase of Covid.

”By providing equitable access to SBA 7(a) loans via our simplified online application, small businesses are able to quickly obtain the inexpensive working capital they desperately need to grow their businesses,” said LaHaie. “By spending these funds on growth initiatives, such as marketing and advertising, our small business members can grow their market share and profitability without having to contribute more equity to their businesses.”

KeyBank | April 28, 2022

KeyBank launches the KeyBank Small Business Check-in, a new tool that helps small business clients assess where they currently stand financially, evaluate their goals, and discover how their banking partner can help open new opportunities toward their path forward. KeyBank is committed to helping small businesses in its local communities thrive, as demonstrated by the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), where more than 70,000 SBA-approved loans were secured. By asking small business customers a series of questions about the status of their organization and where they are on their financial path, the brief, three to five-minute interactive Check-in helps set the stage for swiftly identifying business objectives, goals, and requirements. After completing the form, small business owners may book an in-person meeting or phone call with one of Key's local bankers in their region to have a tailored, advice-driven conversation informed by industry statistics and the client's replies. "The Small Business Check-in represents an investment in demystifying the small business banking experience by creating a frictionless experience that would allow for small business owners in our footprint to have access to the resources they need to operate at the highest possible level." Kristyn Squires, Senior Vice President of National Small Business Sales Leader The Small Business Check-in is a significant step forward in digitizing the business banking experience. Bottomline, a leading provider of financial technology that makes business payments easy, smart, and safe, and Autobooks, an embedded invoicing, payments, and accounting platform for small businesses, announced a collaboration today to provide innovative and critical digital solutions to help small businesses prosper. Autobooks' invoicing, receivables, and accounting tools will be incorporated with Bottomline's Digital Banking IQ platform, allowing financial institutions to have a seamless digital interface as well as a comprehensive range of integrated payments and cash lifecycle solutions designed specifically for small businesses. Bottomline's market-leading digital banking platform will be leveraged, as well Autobooks' innovative approach to assisting financial institutions in recruiting and keeping small businesses by offering critical backoffice services and being their system of record. The joint effort would provide banks and credit unions with a widely differentiated solution for increasing engagement and small business relationships. Bottomline's dedication to working with fintech collaborators, such as Autobooks, who are partnered with financial institutions to promote innovation and deepen customer relationships is expressed with this effort. For financial institutions, the more than 30 million US small companies pose a $370 billion1 opportunity. However, failing to meet the particular demands of overburdened small businesses exposes banks to disintermediation from an evolving landscape of tech-led solutions. According to Aite Group2, fewer than 10% of financial institutions have digital services geared to the needs of small businesses such as invoicing, receivables, accounting, and cash flow management. Bottomline's existing and future banking clients will be able to further extend their services and comprehensively meet the demands of this underserved market with the inclusion of Autobooks. Also, the most competitive banks and credit unions face challenges in finding new and innovative ways to engage small businesses with flexible, realistic approaches that satisfy industry demands for speed and convenience. Integrating the Autobooks approach into an existing technology stack takes no effort from the financial institution and provides a highly productive way of increasing revenue opportunities and deepening relationships. Autobooks enrollment for small businesses is entirely online and takes just a few minutes to complete. About Bottomline Bottomline simplifies, smartens, and secures complex business payments.
