Google plans training for local small businesses, workers

Google is coming to Bozeman to help train local small businesses and workers how to use digital tools to their advantage.Scheduled to take place Thursday, the event is part of the company’s Grow with Google initiative, which aims to create economic activity in communities across the U.S., Google spokesperson Peter Schottenfels said in a press release. Google will provide hands-on workshops teaching small business owners about online marketing for small businesses, search engine optimization and email and presentation basics. The free event is put on in partnership with the Bozeman Public Library, and Gov. Steve Bullock has voiced his support for the initiative.
